The Green Hornet a 2011 superhero film, the movie was based on the name of the characters originated in 1930's radio program and has appeared in movie serials, a television series, comic books and other media. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.The film is scheduled to be released in North America and the United Kingdom on January 14, 2011 and in Australia on January 20, 2011, which will also include RealD Cinema and IMAX 3D. "The Green Hornet" will be based upon the character first popularized in a national radio series that ran from 1939-1952. It was also adapted in comic books and a 1966 TV series that ran for one season on ABC, starring Van Williams as the Green Hornet and catapulting Bruce Lee, who played Kato, to stardom. The story is about: Britt Reid is the son of wealthy newspaper publisher James Reid that is a ne'er do well playboy who inherits a media empire after his father dies.
